The world of customized forklifts is an ever expanding number of varieties, designs and styles. Lift trucks, like cars and trucks are available in a special customized configerations.

Some of the commonly used custom equipment available includes Forklift-Mounted Manbaskets access platforms for lifting workers, attachments like mechanical grab scissors that are used to lift all types of stock and other heavy materials, and custom lengths of forklift extensions.

Magnets can be affixed to the undercarriage to pick up any metal debris that can cause damage in your warehouse. In the construction industry, forklift attachments are put to use to lift heavy equipments, windows, doors, glass, bricks, blocks, beams, timber, and other building supplies. There are so many whay to have a customized forklift.

Custom Forklifts Can Make Life Easier For You

Carpet Poles & Rug Rams are useful for carpet delivery.

Hydraulic Rotators can be used for inverting containers and transferring substances from one container to another. Primarily designed for inverting drums in a forward motion for the purpose of pouring or mixing the contents with other substances. While inverting the drum it can be positioned in any location, and automatically locked. It will not move until it is hydraulically activated again.

Marble and Granite Handlers for slab extraction allow large slabs to be loaded or unloaded from the end of covered containers. They also allow for easier loading and yard handing needs.

Battery Retrieval Units provide a self contained loading and unloading system for the placement of large batteries in industrial forklift trucks.

Carton Clamps are used for clamping and transporting large unpalletized appliances or multiple layers of cartons containing various products.

Rigging Booms easily convert a conventional forklift truck into a heavy duty mobile crane with the capibility of handling all types of unstable or awkward loads with ease.

Layer Pickers are used for handling single or multiple layers of canned or bottled substances for froming mixed pallet loads.

Hydraulic Clamps incorporated with arms or forks are great for squeezing and lifting numerous palletized or unpalletized loads. Hydraulic Clamps are specialized arm, pad or fork carriers that can be used to clamp and lift palletized or unpalletized loads. The frame of the hydraulic clamp is basically the same on all styles of clamp. Its function is to carry the slides and hydraulic cylinders that move the arms or forks in and out for squeezing or positioning various loads.

Drum Handlers automatically clamp and transport drums from one location to another. Both carriage and fork mounted drum handlers are available.

Paper Roll Clamps are used for clamping, elevating and inverting various rools of paper. There are many sizes available to meet your needs.

Flork Positioners are a hydraulically operated attachement that adjusts fork spread, and reduces injuries associated with manual fork positioning.

Bale Clamps are a hydraulic attachment used for lifting pallet-less bales of various products such as cotton, fabric, cardboard or pulp paper.

Appliance Clamps are a hydraulic attachment used for clamping one or more of unpalletized appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, driers or dishwashers. This unit is used in both manufacturing plants and warehouses where space is a premium. Also used for loading and unloading trailers and containers.

Appliance Handlers are a mechanical attachment for transporting appliances by engaging a lifting spade under the lip of a folded-top carton, then elevating the forklift carriage.

Used in both manufacturing plants and warehouses where space is a premium. These units can only be used to pick up appliances packaged in folded-top cartons. Fold-up forks are also available to allow conventional forklift use without removing the appliance handler.

Pole Clamps are a clamping device used extensively for lifting rolls of paper or other cylindrical products of various diameters. The smooth round tipped poles also have the capability of squeezing compacted bags of chemicals for the purpose of loosening the contents, allowing free flow during product transfer.

Poles are replaceable and come in various diameters and lengths, to suit numerous applications. Many capacities and ranges are available and the clamp also has the option of being removed quickly to return the forklift to more conventional use.

Double Block Handlers enable a forklift to pick up two palletless cubes of building blocks side by side and then sideshift them individually to the left or right for precise alignment when stacking or loading trailers. Twelve narrow forks are accurately positioned to fit into the holes in the lower layers of each cube of blocks.

Single Block Handlers are also available for lower capacity forklifts.

Coil Carriers are used for lifting large, heavy coils of steel or wire within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Each coil handler is manufactured with a large pole diameter to evenly distribute the load and smooth rounded tip to simplify entry into the coil core.

Die Handlers are a hydraulic device that gives a standard forklift truck the capability of loading and unloading large stamping, bending or forming dies for industrial presses. Easily installed on a forklift, it can be positioned to operate from left to right, or forward and backwards. Once installed, this unit can eliminate damage, while safely placing or retrieving expensive dies. The operator remains within the safety of the forklift.

Forks of numerous sizes and lengths are available to suit every type of forklift truck. Standard forks are readily available as well as forks with shaft or pin type mounting. Special forks can also be ordered to suit numerous applications such as tire handling, lumber handling (with full top or bottom taper and polish) or drum handling (with drum cut-outs).

Fork Extensions are devices that fit over a standard pair of forks on a forklift truck, for the sole purpose of temporarily lengthening the forks for load stabilization only.

Paving or Interlocking Brick Clamps area a A carriage mounted hydraulically operated clamp for side squeezing, elevating, then transporting heavy un-palletized cubes of bricks, blocks or paving slabs. The clamp has the ability to stack one or two cubes (one on top of the other) when loading transport trailers or when storing product in the yard prior to shipment.

Load Pusher or Push/Pull Units are a hydraulic attachment used for depositing or retrieving numerous palletless loads without side clamping. Uses include warehouse operations where the products being handled are too fragile for conventional side squeezing, or where the load consists of uneven or unstable stacks.

Roll Cradles are designed to turn a standard power pallet truck into a horizontal paper roll or cable spool transporter. The contoured cradle is incorporated into the forks of the pallet truck and when elevated it lifts the roll or spool from the ground. Once the coil or roll is clear of the floor it can be safely transported to another location.

Scoop Buckets can quickly convert a standard forklift truck into a hydraulically powered front end loader. Used for moving sand, gravel, soil or even snow this "light to medium duty" bucket has the capability of being removed in a matter of seconds, returning the forklift to its conventional use. Both carriage mounted or fork mounted models are available.

Snow Plow attachments quickly convert your standard pneumatic forklift into a plow for periodic snow or sleet removal. Attached to either the carriage or forks, this plow can be centered on the forklift or manually positioned to the left or right to clear a swath on either side. For safety the spring loaded blade allows the plow to "trip forward" if an obstacle such as a curbstone is encountered.

Spreader Beams are used to stabilize wide loads of unstable products such as steel bar or pipe that is manufactured and supplied in long random lengths. The fork mounted Spreader Beam mounts over the forks of any standard forklift truck in seconds, adding stability to the load by means of a rigid beam carrying two extra forks. When elevated, the load acts as a single unit, eliminating any sag that could cause it to fall.

Tubing Scoops are designed exclusively for unloading long random lengths of steel tubing from the rear end of open or closed transport trailers. By attaching the Tubing Scoop onto the forks then locating the lip under the front edge of the tubes, the stack can be slightly elevated to clear the floor. After lifting slightly, the scoop can then be driven forward under the load, until it reaches just over half way down the random length. At this point the tubes can be raised off the floor or trailer deck for transportation to another location.
